You're community-minded.
You work everyday to make your corner of the world a better place to live.

Bring a unique, easy-to-teach program for young adolescents (no younger than 11) to your community. See the positive impact it has - both now and in the future!

Since 1980, we've helped caring adults like you teach 500,000+ young people to be safer sitters using a medically-accurate program created by a nationally-recognized pediatrician.

We invite you to join our far-reaching family of over 900 teaching sites!
We'll do all we can to support your passion of teaching young people…your passion is our passion too. As babysitting experts, it's all we do.

"The minute the brochure offering Safe Sitter® is out, the class is filled and there is a waiting list. Parents love this program - they tell me they notice a shift in their child's sense of responsibility."
Norma, from a Safe Sitter® afterschool teaching site in Maine

"Since our school isn't near a large city or access to transportation, taking Safe Sitter® after school allows students an opportunity to improve their knowledge. As a math teacher, teaching Safe Sitter® allows me to get to know my students on another level. They come back and share their babysitting experiences with me."

Churches

"What a gift these kids are to the community - that they know how to handle an emergency - whether it's at church, their school, or McDonald's. Although most of our students are members of our church, Safe Sitter® allows us to open the doors of a church to those who aren't. They can see the other opportunities available to them at the church."
Deb, from a Safe Sitter® church teaching site in Minnesota

"I was looking for a medically-accurate and updated course that worked at the level of the age group of the youth taking the course. I wanted a course that was interactive. It helps them to become confident. It emphasizes keeping calm, giving comfort, keeping in control, and that calling for help is a sign of maturity. Kids comment that Safe Sitter® makes them feel better to babysit now that they know the rescue skills."
Trisha, from a Safe Sitter® church teaching site in Indiana
