Our health care system may be changing. However, one thing will always remain the same: your desire to show your community that you care about its safety-today and in the future.
If you are a not-for-profit hospital required by the IRS to provide community benefit in order to maintain your tax-exempt status, Safe Sitter® can be a valuable part of the package of services that you provide.
Here's how one not-for-profit hospital explains why the costs to
provide Safe Sitter® are counted in its community benefit
report:
"When parents hire a babysitter who has gone through the Safe
Sitter® course, they can feel confident that they are leaving their
children with someone trained in rescue skills, basic first aid and
nurturing and safe childcare techniques. These skills are valuable
for any life responsibilities, not just babysitting occasions.
Parents and guardians are always impressed with the results. And
this is the great benefit that the Safe Sitter® program offers to
our community."

An Important Note About Training: You must be connected to a registered Safe Sitter® teaching site before you may be trained in the curriculum to become an Instructor. It's a fairly quick and easy application and approval process. Call 800-255-4089 x19 or email us. We'll help you with the steps needed to start your own site and begin teaching!
