




Robyn D'Oria, R.N., is an Advanced
Practice Nurse and has been in the Maternal Child Health field for
over 30 years. Her background includes staff nursing, nursing
administration as well as nursing education. For the last
eight years she has been Executive Director of a non profit
focusing on public health initiatives in Maternal Child Health in
New Jersey. Robyn has been involved with Safe Sitter, Inc.
for the past 18 years.
Amy Ladd, R.N., is
the Coordinator of School Health Services for Covered Bridge
Special Education District in Terre Haute, IN. She also works PRN
providing home health nursing services for homebound patients. She
has a master's degree in both education and agency counseling. Amy
has been a National Trainer for over 20 years.
Sherry Mercer is a
CNA/Unit Coordinator for the emergency department at Sheridan
Wyoming Memorial Hospital. She has 18 years experience with
the YMCA. In addition to teaching Instructor Workshops, Sherry
teaches Safe Sitter® student classes to a variety of young
adolescents including incarcerated youth.
Janet Raker, R.N., has been
a National Trainer since 1987. She also works as a Customer Support
Coordinator at National Headquarters where she serves as editor of
the E Monthly. Janet is a volunteer Parish Nurse and the Safe
Sitter® Site Coordinator for Sycamore School in Indianapolis.
Previous nursing experience includes surgical services and
progressive care.
Lynn Shawver,
R.N., has been a Registered Nurse for 16 years. She has a
nursing background in critical care and phone triage. Lynn
currently works in hospice care in Wichita Falls, Texas. She has
been an American Heart Association CPR Instructor for 8 years and a
Safe Sitter, Inc. National Trainer for 9 years
Kay
Vohs, R.N., has been a Registered Nurse for 37 years. Her
nursing background includes medical/surgery, renal transplant and
nursing management. For the last 16 years she has been in human
resources as a nurse recruiter and HR generalist for Community
Health Network in Indianapolis, IN. She joined Safe Sitter, Inc. in
1999.
Donna Willis-Brown, M.S.N.,
R.N., is a National Trainer and works as a Customer
Support Coordinator at National Headquarters. Donna started as a
volunteer Instructor 23 years ago. She is also a Perinatal Nurse
Educator and American Heart Association CPR Faculty and Instructor
for St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Donna's nursing
career includes surgical services and nursing management.
